Europerf: ICADE Project – DESIGNER Lehoux Phily Samanha
This prestigious and futuristic building is located on the outskirts of Villejuif, France, south of Paris. It is characterised by bronze and gold colour effects. The cellular façade system that creates the envelope is characterised by the presence of an external walkway, which also acts as a support structure for the micro-perforated sheet metal sunshade system supplied by Europerf, R8T10 hole, 3 mm thick, S355JR. Cellular façade Sunshade 13,000 m².
The center’s outer ‘skin’ is made from an elegant mix of fibre cement and metal panels, complemented by perforated sheet metal brise-soleil elements by EuroPerf.

The perforated sheets were supplied in AISI 316 L, thickness 40/10, hole R 5 T 6.
Construction is nearing completion at 550 Washington Street, designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed by Oxford Properties.
EUROPERF perforated sheet metal is used to make diffractors with high soundproofing properties.
They consist of 5005 aluminium alloy shells with a high sound-absorbing mineral wool mat inserted inside.
The acoustic diffusers are positioned on motorway barriers in order to contain diffraction around the perimeter of the barrier.
